Premio della critica all’artista Luca Zampini a cura del comitato tecnico scientifico selezionatore della mostra “I TOP 200″ presso la DEM Art Gallery di Venezia e per il suo costante impegno nell’ambito dell’arte visiva. I’m really happy with this unexpected award! I received the news from the historian and art critic Antonio Castellana. I would like to thank him, the committee and all those involved for their esteem for me. The work that I will exhibit in the collective of the prestigious Venetian gallery starting from July 17, 2021 you can see it below.

“HUGS” on Erodoto 108. But how beautiful this article is?

The storyteller Carlotta Alaura writes about my project dedicated to trees “HUGS. The Tree Calling” (today WHISPERING TREES ) as if it had always known me. A huge thank you to you and to the editorial staff of this compelling cultural magazine for having dedicated a space to this curious “man whispering in the trees”

I leave you with the words of the Director of Herodotus 108, Andrea Semplici, a wonderful man that years ago I was lucky enough to meet on the Pollino during one of my many trips in search of a “hug“:

“Luca, for years, has been approaching, unseeded, large trees. He photographs them, rotates around them and photographs them again and then confuses the images: Luca knows how to portray the soul of the trees”

Happy and honored that Madrugada, the magazine of the association Macondo, a non-profit organization for meeting and communication among peoples, has chosen some of my photos from the project “Whispering Trees”, which I initially called “HUGS” to accompany the articles of issue 120, coming soon.

My trees on Fotoit, monthly magazine of FIAF (Italian Federation of Photographic Associations). How exciting!

FOTOIT, organo ufficiale della FIAF , la più grande associazione del settore in Italia.
Faccio parte di questa grande famiglia dal 2009, con piacere e orgoglio. Nel numero di maggio 2020 ho avuto la sorpresa di trovare questo meraviglioso articolo dedicato al mio progetto sugli alberi “Alberi che sussurrano” (progetto che inizialmente chiamavo “HUGS”, come poi riportato nell’articolo).

The article reports my work as an example of a project in preparation for the national photographic project AMBIENTE CLIMA FUTURO (national project 2020-2022).

LEAFING THROUGH THE NEWSPAPERS

Various newspapers have written about me and my project “Whispering Trees“. But I don’t feel like a celebrity, certainly a person who loves trees and nature and who is concerned about our planet (especially thinking about those who are much younger than me).
Photography is a medium through which I try to express my moods, thoughts, feelings…

 

 

A heartfelt thank you to the Editorial Staff of “Il Resto del Carlino” in Ferrara and to the journalist Giuseppe Malaspina, who wrote the beautiful articles below and for the one at the bottom of the page regarding my personal exhibition at Gallery Annunziata in Ferrara.
