Testimonials from the public
” Luca sees the world with the eyes of his heart…. “
” your trees are stars, footprints and memories, and it feels like you can look into the soul, to be able to relive the lives of those we love, endlessly. “
“Luca’s works are beautiful … his trees arouse poignant emotions!”
“His work conveys emotion; his pieces transport you to a dimension out of time … certainly the result of great sensitivity and a deep search for the soul …”
“Beeches, sequoias, holm oaks, pines, plane trees, cork oaks, poplars. In this time of missed embraces, “EMBRACES” by Luca Zampini comforts and moves us with the tenderness and beauty of his encounters.”
“… he can see the soul of people and his beautiful trees. He can create magic, the fairy tale with an image, knows how to convey to you the duty that we all have to protect nature. Luca is a special person, to follow with eyes ready to be amazed like those of children“
“Luca’s trees are pure magic. They have something so familiar – it feels like walking in the countryside on a foggy day – and at the same time, something unreal, almost like a dream. Luca’s photos are so powerful and delicate, they are caressing, a hug.”
“Luca manages to insert in his images not only aesthetic beauty, but also the sensitivity, the magic and the naturalness of telling and telling himself, emotions and memories. He knows how to look at the world with the eyes of his soul using the spontaneity of someone who grasps every aspect of life.”
“Luca is a great professional who manages to bring out the soul of the subjects he immortalizes. I was dazzled by his photographic project “HUGS” in which he manages to give soul and movement to the trees that envelop the observer gently, making him become unique with them“
” … you won’t have a real dimension of Luke’s works until you see them personally live (if you haven’t done so yet I highly recommend it). You will appreciate how much the work is born from the soul in an iconic projection of the artist’s bond with the trees themselves. Luca proves to be a digital artist who uses the camera as a tool in place of a virtual brush, to make paintings born from the heart on “canvas”
” … his photography is strongly focused on visionary and dreamlike images that manage in their simplicity to express his strong love for nature and to excite the observer who is immediately transported to this metaphysical dream with great personal involvement”
“Luca is an extraordinary professional who has never been satisfied with the knowledge he has acquired. He is an artist, an “explorer” of the creative space; always travels through new photographic narratives” ahead of its time, with results and acclaim that it regularly collects from all those who visit its beautiful exhibitions. His is a wealth of experience brought with the lightness of a smile that he never misses, a positive attitude that puts everyone at ease…

Critical texts and contributions
[…] His photography is a condensation of emotions, more than a layering of shots. Each image tells not only of an encounter, but of that chaotic turmoil of the soul that combines his love for trees, his desire for protection, the enthusiasm of the moment, the all-encompassing experience lived. (Giovanni Pelloso, bimonthly Il Fotografo n. 357)
[…] Evocative images that tell a story… (Prof. Italo Zannier)
The technical refinement of these photographs, imbued with great delicacy, immediately appeared to me as functional not to a search for originality but to an original feeling. Key effects that emerge to my eyes from these images are evanescence, three-dimensionality, and movement. The evanescence is that of a dream, not as another unapproachable dimension, but as a desired and pursued occurrence in daily reality. The three-dimensionality, rendered by the soft heterotonal overlaps, becomes here a perception of matured depth of the strong need that the author feels compelled to express even in words, as a true instance. The movement, created by subtle repetitions that make the branches “advance” beyond their limit, and by some particular framings, I consider here an allegory of “going towards” to renew and traverse the fabric woven by the relationship that exists between us and other objects in the world, often invisible and whose embrace we would enjoy if only we were aware of it! (Eletta Massimino on Agorà di Cult/FIAF)
Luca’s work reproduces a relationship between photographer and subject that gains value precisely because of the depth of this relationship, the basis of the genesis of the work. As in portrait photography, the subject is “CHOSEN” and a communication, an interaction between photographer and photographed subject is established. An exchange takes place. The technique ensures that the result is extremely artistic, giving a sort of movement that first brings the photographer closer to the tree, then the tree to the photographer; finally, the tree to the viewer. The subject, the tree, which by nature should appear immobile, instead appears to vibrate and animate, expanding almost beyond the support on which it is reproduced. It lives, breathes, communicates. And even the sensitive viewer will find themselves drawn into this inevitable embrace, irresistibly described in the author’s words. (Claudia Ioan on Agorà di Cult/FIAF)
It is an expanded time that inhabits the photos of Luca Zampini. Nothing is perfectly in focus, sharp, yet in this dreamlike atmosphere, the power of the roots is revealed and thoughts unravel in a pacifying clarity. Like in a courtship, Luca proceeds gradually […] allowing mute words to settle to rediscover their meaning in a single image. The stages dissolve, only the power of the lived experience remains. (Carlotta Alaura, quarterly Erodoto 108 n. 29)
